Unity Sunday

Sunday 21 January

London Street United Reformed Church

Unity Service

6.30 pm United Service

United - for the sake of the world

Guest Speaker: Dr Rachel Jordan-Wolf, the National Mission and Evangelism Adviser for the Church of England.

Rachel has always been passionate to see people come to faith in Jesus. When young, she had a Christian club for her friends in her grandparents' old chicken shed. After school, she joined Youth for Christ, Oasis, then YWAM. This led her to the red light district of Amsterdam to share Jesus with the prostitutes and drug addicts.

Open the Book

The Church of Christ the King (next to Asda) are wanting to get a team together for Open the Book assemblies (perhaps once a month) in Chalk Ridge Primary School (Brighton Hill). The school are very interested, but they desperately need some more volunteers to make up a viable team. See Colin if you are interested.

Basingstoke Foodbank

Night Shelter

Following the success of last year's Night Light Winter Shelter, local churches are running a shelter for those who are homeless. See Penny for more details.

LivingStones Christian Centre

LivingStones Christian Centre (Fleet) will be closed until 12 February for renovations. These will enable a significant expansion of their work on the High Street in Fleet.
